LFC Badminton Championship 2022 will be held on July 9 & 10

The Elamkulam Little Flower Church Badminton Championship will be conducted under the leadership of KCYM in association with LFC Badminton Club for family units on 9th, 10th, of July 2022 from 3pm to 9:30 pm in the third floor of the parish hall. The tournament will be inaugurated by Vicar Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kalapurackal, Asst. Vicar Rev. Fr. Don Mulavariekal and Fr. Praise antony.Only parish unit members can take part and the matches will be conducted unit wise. Men and women can play both singles and doubles. Those who wish to contest have to inform the unit president before 6th July 2022. The registration fees for singles is Rs.200/- and for doubles is Rs.300/-. At least 6 teams have to participate in each segment for the matches to be conducted. The contestants should be at least 15 years old.Both men and women has separate matches. Muthoot FInance is the official event partner. 

For men there are 3 categories 

• Cat. 1  age limit 15 to 20
• Cat. 2 age limit 21 to 45
• Cat. 3   45  plus 

For women

Cat. 1  age limit 15 to 20
Cat. 2 age limit  20 plus

In Doubles,any one who is more than 15 years old can participate. Both men and women will have separate match. From each unit there can be 2 men team and two women team participate in the league
There must be minimum 6 participants each category otherwise the category will be cancel
 matches, there will be one set of 21 points and from semifinal onwards, there will be best of 3 sets. Yonex Mavis 350 shuttle will be utilized. There will be provision to exhibit the advertisement board of the sponsors at the venue if they wish to do so. The balance amount after meeting the expenses will be credited to the KCYM charity fund. The committee will have the right to make any changes to the programme. The winners will be rewarded.
